With the wealthiest behaving more monstrously every day — destroying our ecosystems, hiking up the prices of life-saving drugs, spraying pesticides that harm children’s brains — it is not as if Democrats will run out of material to retake the progressive mantle.
Is it unrealistic to campaign for universal health care? Is it impractical to call a halt to fracking? Is it possible to advocate for free college and still win an election? Should candidates be willing to compromise on women’s health rights? Is a $15 wage too much to ask for?
