LBC radio caller explains that her son must leave the UK tomorrow after failling two applications to stay, despite the fact she arrived in this country in 1959.

The moving moment Ruth Williams, 75, who suffers from Cancer called LBC radio host James O’Brien to explain that her son, who temporarily gave up work to care for her, has had to buy his own plane ticket to St Vincent’s to avoid the shame of being deported tomorrow, as a result to the Home Office’s Hostile Environment policy targeting the Windrush generation, after two failed applications to stay in Britain.

“The Home Office has left us feeling less than human beings.” 🔷
