European women’s voices must be heard in the Brexit negotiations, Professor Tanja Bueltmann argued in a speech she gave in Berlin.

Historian, anti-Brexit campaigner and EU citizen Professor Tanja Bueltmann gave a powerful and inspiring speech at the European Women’s March that took place last month in Berlin, Germany.

In her speech she recalls the fall of the Berlin Wall and explains how today Brexit is taking away rights from EU citizens. Female EU citizens will be more severely affected by this as they are more likely to fall through the cracks of settled status. Women’s rights must be respected and protected.
