the3million on why there is still time to contact the 28 EU leaders to secure the rights of 5 million of EU citizens in the UK and British citizens in Europe before Brexit.
We are now 10 days away from Brexit, yet we still don’t know the outcome of the negotiations, raising the possibility of No-Deal. It’s shameful, irresponsible and extremely worrying for the 5 million EU citizens in the UK and British citizens in the EU. Senior Channel 4 News anchor Jon Snow summarised the situation perfectly last week when interviewing Cabinet minister Matt Hancock:
This is why we are calling you to write again to Donald Tusk, to Theresa May and to your Prime Minister or President, and ask them to commit to #RescueOurRights from the Withdrawal agreement. Donald Tusk, Theresa May and most Heads of States are on Twitter, so it is by far the most effective way to write to them.
“Dear Donald and Theresa,
We are the children of the European project, but we shouldn’t be the victims of your divorce. It’s your moral obligation to #RescueOurRights from the Withdrawal agreement this week at #EUCO in case of no-deal.”
Our friends at EU Citizens’ Champions have published a list of Twitter handles. Don’t forget to send a tweet to your Head of State as well, so they all know how we feel.
In some of the tweets, people also added a selfie, which gave the tweet a personal touch.

p.s: Are you marching in London this Saturday? Meet me and others of the3million behind Green Park Station from Midday, to celebrate our European identity. Our plan is to stay in Green Park for a couple of hours, with some European music to keep ourselves entertained, then walk to Parliament with our friends from British in Europe when they arrive from Hyde Park.
When you get to Green Park Station, go to the park behind the station and look out for the3million flag and our banner, “WE ARE THE PEOPLE TOO. GIVE US A VOTE!”
