As 71 million citizens in the UK and across Europe are about to lose their rights because of Brexit, time to rally to demand the rights of all people be defended.

As most of you know, we decided to organise Rally 4 Our Rights when the People’s Vote moved the date of their march. Our aim has always been to offer those who can’t change their travel arrangements and those who can attend both a chance to protest on 12 October. The following is our plan:
We are focusing on the rights that all 66 million British citizens plus the 5 million (EU citizens in the UK and Brits in Europe) will lose due to Brexit. The rally is taking place in locations we feel most relevant to the loss of rights: Marsham Street (Home Office’s location), Tufton Street (known as a centre for Brexit-related eurosceptic and right-wing aligned think-tanks, lobbyists and pressure groups) and St John’s Smith Square (European Parliament UK Office).
It is a static protest, though attendees can move between locations, if they wish. There will be speakers at each location, who will cover topics relevant to that particular location. Uniquely, there will also be an opportunity for people attending to have their say.
The team at #R4OR are tired of being dismissed by those in power, so we think we should show them who their voters are. We are the everyday people. We are the electorate. They need to earn our votes just as we earn our money. Nothing scares politicians more than everyday people. Just look at those people who rejected Boris Johnson at every town he turned up in! So come as you, whoever that is.
The rally takes place from 2pm-5pm. We hope to end it with a human chain around the Home Office. Please, help us make this possible. Join us, bring friends and family, and please chip in a few pounds towards the costs of the event. Any money left over will be donated to good causes.
Importantly, Rally 4 Our Rights is a stand alone event and is not linked in any way to other events taking place on the same day. We are working in liaison with the police to make sure our protest is legal, so as not to jeopardise the status of anyone applying for Settled Status or visas.
It’s time to get serious and fight for our rights. So, join us from 2pm on 12 October to Rally 4 Our Rights!🔷
