There was nothing democratic about #DeniedMyVote.

First published in June 2020.

I have heard many people speak about democracy and the right to vote over the last 4 years, Kuba Jabłonowski really struck a chord.

Some people choose not to vote (personally something I do not understand), but I know how it feels to want to vote and be denied that right.

Without a vote you have no voice, no representation.

Every time people are asked to write to their MPs, it actually hurts. It’s actually heightened my anxiety, as the feeling of powerlessness is increased.

A year ago, people eligible to vote were turned away!

Why should you care, it didn’t affect you? You should care because the results of the European Parliament elections may have been more favourable for our cause.

You should care because if they get away with this, they will do it again.

It may be YOU next.

You should care because, as flawed as our voting system is, it is the only one we have and it is been undermined.

You should care because you believe in democracy.

There was nothing democratic about #DeniedMyVote.

You should care because you stand with the3million.

You should care because it is the right thing to do.

You should care because it is pressure on Boris Johnson and Dominic Cummings.

You should care because I will finally stop banging on about it.🔷
