Vigilante videos against desperate people. Whatβs next?

He calls them illegals and invaders.
He turns up in a luxury chauffeur driven car, cameraman at the ready, whilst he goes from one grotty hotel to another, spying on where desperate refugee arrivals crossing the English Channel might be temporarily accommodated.

Oh that hotel is fully booked for the rest of the year, says Nigel Farage talking to the camera from the back of his leather seated car. Letβs go and find out if there are any illegal migrants there β that will be embarrassing for Priti Patel, because this is in her constituency!
Mr Farage likes to turn up unannounced so he can shoot βillegal migrantsβ with his candid camera.

He then reports back to his YouTube and Twitter audiences how awful it is that traumatised people coming here from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Eritrea, Yemen β you know, places where peopleβs lives are in severe danger from war and oppression β are being given food and a roof over their heads.
Oh, they look dodgy, must be illegals. Letβs ask the hotel if they have a room for the night. Not tonight? Not for the rest of the year? That clinches it. They must be accommodating unwanted migrants. The country is appalled.

He never calls them refugees or asylum seekers. But the fact is that the majority of these people risking their lives to cross the English Channel are refugees with legitimate claims to asylum, and are allowed to stay*.
Shameful behaviour, Mr Farage.π·
(*) Last year around 1,900 people arrived in the UK in small boats from the Channel. Of those, the Home Office says only around 125 were sent back. This is because the vast majority are genuine refugees with strong reasons for coming to Britain.
