In case you missed it, this is Sir David King, current Head of Independent SAGE, on Sky News on Monday, being both logical and straightforward about the COVID-19 situation in the UK and how to deal with the Delta variant.

First published in June 2021.

During this interview, Sir David King, former government’s Chief Scientific Advisor (2000-2007) and current Head of Independent SAGE explains how the mistakes being repeatedly made by the UK Government first with the Alpha variant and now with the Delta variant have a direct impact on the strategy that is needed to deal with the coronavirus.

Sir David also thinks that secondary school children should be vaccinated and wear masks in schools in order to both protect them and protect their communities from the very contagious Delta variant.
